Ana Bonds is a member of HPLP’s workers’ compensation defense team in the Charleston office. Prior to joining HPLP, Ana worked for a local firm where her practice focused exclusively in workers’ compensation defense.

Ana was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Ana graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English. Ana then attended the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, graduating in 2022. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar that same year. During law school, Ana earned the CALI award for her Civil Litigation Capstone. Ana is a very active member of the South Carolina Bar. She is a committee co-chair within the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, a member of the Stanford E. Lacy American Inn of Court, and a general council member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the South Carolina Bar.

When not in the office, Ana enjoys being on the boat with her family and friends, exercising, or playing a competitive game of Mahjong.
