A leader of HPLP’s workers’ compensation defense practice, and manager of the firm’s Charleston, S.C. office, William Littlejohn represents insurance carriers, self-insureds, third-party administrators and government entities across a variety of industries that include construction, forestry, hospitality & service, healthcare, and staffing.

Littlejohn previously served as an attorney with a large, South Carolina-based insurance defense firm, gaining extensive experience handling every phase of workers’ compensation litigation, from settlement negotiations to hearing and appeals before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission. Prior to joining a firm, he researched and drafted complex legal opinions as a law clerk for the Honorable Daniel F. Pieper of the South Carolina Court of Appeals.

A native North Carolinian and avid Tar Heels fan, Littlejohn has been a longtime resident of the Charleston area and resides in Mount Pleasant, S.C., with his wife and three daughters.
