Madeline Fletcher Mahaffey is an associate attorney with the law firm Holder, Padgett, Littlejohn + Prickett, LLC, working in their Greenville, SC office. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, including premises liability, construction matters and personal injury. She also handles real property disputes, including HOA matters.
Madeline was born and raised in Greenville. After graduating from Greenville High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and went on to attend the Charleston School of Law. At CSOL, Madeline served as a liaison to the Charleston County Probate Court, represented clients facing eviction under the student practice rule with the Homelessness Justice Project Clinic, served as a Guardian ad Litem, and worked as a law clerk at a Charleston-based firm. Madeline received the Pro Bono award for the highest pro bono hours in the school, and she received CALI awards in Education Law and Policy and Gender Issues in the Law.
Prior to joining HPLP, Madeline served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer B. McCoy of the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Madeline enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, visiting the South Carolina mountains and the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and participating in several local organizations.
