Claudia was born and raised in New York and received her Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Economics from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Claudia received her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law where she was a member of the James L. Petigru American Inn of Court and served as President of the Business Law Society. She received CALI awards in Professional Responsibility and Law Practice Management. Throughout law school, Claudia worked for a local Mount Pleasant firm specializing in personal injury cases.
Since joining HPLP, Claudia has focused her practice solely in workers’ compensation defense representing a variety of clients ranging from small employers to Fortune 500 companies. Her goal is to provide consistent, concise, and thorough legal representation to her clients, through strategy and critical thinking in order to meet clients’ different objectives in workers’ compensation claims. She regularly provides lectures, training, and risk advice to help companies limit their exposure on future claims.
Claudia is proficient in Polish and has provided Polish to English translation work in connection with hundreds of cases in the past. During her free time, Claudia enjoys going to the park and beaches with her husband and 8-year-old pup, Grizzly.
